Now that you understand the guidelines outlined by the CIA’s “Do The Five” plan, it’s time to get onto campus. This video will take you through the steps you will take each day to check into campus. You’ll be required to sign into the symptom checker to answer a quick survey. From there you will get checked in at the temperature check station and you’ll receive your clearance badge for the day. This process will help our campus communities safe and protected. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Culinary Institute of America: The CIA at Copia: CIA Restaurant Group: CIA Food Enthusiasts programs: Founded in 1946, The Culinary Institute of America is the world’s premier culinary college. This last guideline is the most important, staying home if you’re feeling sick. The CIA will be requiring health screenings where your temperature will be taken daily. From there you will receive a badge showing you have passed health clearance for the day. We urge anyone who feels unwell to stay home. This will help keep the campus community as safe as possible. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Culinary Institute of America: The CIA at Copia: CIA Restaurant Group: CIA Food Enthusiasts programs: Founded in 1946, The Culinary Institute of America is the world’s premier culinary college. Keeping your hands away from your face helps stop the spread of the virus because it is a common way for it to enter the body. This can be challenging but we ask all members of the campus community to remain vigilant and practice proper handwashing if you do need to touch your face for any reason. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Culinary Institute of America: The CIA at Copia: CIA Restaurant Group: CIA Food Enthusiasts programs: Founded in 1946, The Culinary Institute of America is the world’s premier culinary college. Keeping a safe distance is a great way to help stop the spread. CIA students learn “don’t crowd the pan” in their kitchen classes and we’re applying the same concept to our campuses. Signage has been posted around campus to help reinforce the proper physical distancing guidelines that will keep everyone safe. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Culinary Institute of America: The CIA at Copia: CIA Restaurant Group: CIA Food Enthusiasts programs: Founded in 1946, The Culinary Institute of America is the world’s premier culinary college. Faculty, students, and staff will all be required to wear masks while on any CIA campus to help keep everyone safe. Be sure to watch carefully so you can learn about how to properly put on your facemask. Additionally, students will be wearing face shields while in the kitchen to help further prevent the spread. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Culinary Institute of America: The CIA at Copia: CIA Restaurant Group: CIA Food Enthusiasts programs: Founded in 1946, The Culinary Institute of America is the world’s premier culinary college. The CIA has taken many steps to ensure the safety of all members of the campus community at each of its locations. One of those steps has been establishing five guidelines that will help everyone stay safe. These are, wear a mask, frequent handwashing, keep a safe distance, don’t touch your face, and stay home if you’re sick. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Culinary Institute of America: The CIA at Copia: CIA Restaurant Group: CIA Food Enthusiasts programs: Founded in 1946, The Culinary Institute of America is the world’s premier culinary college.
