FC Bayern won their first title of the season in their first competitive game, claiming the 2025 Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup! On Saturday evening, the German record champions beat reigning cup winners VfB 2-1 (1-0), celebrating their eleventh triumph in this competition. Harry Kane put FC Bayern ahead in the 18th minute, and Luis Díaz scored the final goal to make it 2:0 in the closing stages.
