NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 Review: Are We Finally Getting A New Era? #njpw #wrestlekingdom #njwk20 #hiroshitanahashi About ten years ago, Wrestle Kingdom 10 was a show much talked about among the "hardcore wrestling audience" as being one of the best of the year. The main event of that show was Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada in one of the best matches of one of the best rivalries ever in pro-wrestling. Fast forward ten years and Wrestle Kingdom 20 is headlined by the same match, but this time it is the retirement of Hiroshi Tanahashi, who is now the President of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and his opponent, Okada, is now a prominent member of another promotion. Could these two recapture the magic that was a key part of NJPW's most recent "Golden Age" or would time be too much for The Ace? This is my review of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 from the Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2026 featuring the retirement match of Hiroshi Tanahashi.
