AGE UKE (上げ受け) – A rising block used to defend against high attacks such as punches or strikes toward the head. It emphasizes proper arm rotation and shoulder alignment. 2. GYAKU ZUKI (逆突き) – A powerful reverse punch delivered with the hand opposite to the leading leg. Focus on hip rotation (kime), stance stability, and straight punch trajectory. 3. GEDAN BARAI (下段払い) – A downward sweeping block aimed to deflect low attacks like kicks.
