I honestly feel the hate on the film is quite unnecessary, given its time of release. The movie really passed a good message and it wasn't predictable, it was a necessity for Michael's father to die for the story to progress, yes it was cliché but Micheal would have gone to play the national cup and win, end of movie. it was a beautiful storyline and the actors delivered their roles so well.
