Dean (Sam Strike) and Damon (George Russo) are Essex boys who meet in prison. After they get out, they work for a drug dealer who owns a bar. Dean is quiet and takes on a menial position. The group has issues within and without as the police attempt to bring them down. The acting wasn't there. The plot seemed a bit simple. A film that was more drama than action. Guide: F-word, sex, nudity. I had difficulty with the accent.
Why are all these films set in the South of England. I remember the 80s in the North and it wasn't for the faint hearted. Bad ass southern people. I don't think so. You should have been and lived in the North during these times.
Poor poor , everytime you see the character Dean he's always smoking so it could've passed as an advert for smoking.
If you like seeing angry people being horrible to everyone they come into contact with, then you have a 90 minute treat ahead! Without any meaningful storyline or redeeming features, no charactor arcs or consistancy. This film was massively disappointing. The first movie was is a good film within the genre, With good characters and directing. This film is weak and predictable and Unfortunately they replaced everything good about the first movie with constant over the top posturing and aggression. Avoid
Another badly acted B rated Brit flick from the usual actors trying to look hard. The Essex Boys story has been milked that many times, you would think the producers would take a break. This one is bad. Really bad. Unbelievable. Terrible script and dialogue. Don't bother wasting your time.
It is mostly a gangster movie filled with people with bad temper. There aren't much substances in it. When there was a sudden opportunity to become the most furious gang, everyone tried to prove that they are the toughest and merciless gang of all. The story was okay but the acting was quite mediocre. Some of the actors and actresses hardly knew how to do a convincing acting. Some of these actors and actresses had important role in the movie. But because of their poor performance the scenes were not that effective which affected the overall movie experience. Not Recommended.
OK it's not going to win any Oscars but I've seen a lot worse, biggest surprise was Casey Batchelor acting skills, she's actually a good actress. Plot wasn't the best but it had it's good moments. Worth a watch if you want to pass an hour or so just don't be expecting too much out of it though Get out here and buy it's on the shelves you tow rag Mike!!!

Mr Kipling makes exceedingly good cakes. Jonathan Sothcott produces exceedingly bad films. This mish-mash of a would-be gangster film is so bad that you have to continue watching it to see if anything good happens. Based on the book by Bernard O'Mahoney, which instantly means that you cannot believe it's authenticity, the casting is terrible with a Cast of amateur British actors all out to try and win oscars for their abysmal performances. Why this film was ever made is beyond me. But the director and producer should go back to working at the burger bar.
