Learn from Legends: http://www.legendarystriking.com People watch Muay Thai fights like Pakorn and Pornsanae and think that it's all there is to Muay Thai: sit in the pocket and trade until one person falls. This fight went viral for a reason, it sure makes entertainment, but no Muay Thai is NOT stand and bang. In fact every combat sport has the brawler. In MMA, Diego Sanchez, Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin / Stephan Bonnar, etc. are some easy examples. There's also the technical brawler, which is Max Holloway, Cody Garbrandt, and the Diaz brothers. Examples are plenty in MMA, kickboxing, and boxing, but yet Muay Thai is often characterized by fights like Pakorn and Pornsanae. Pornsanae's favorite fighter is Saenchai. In fact, both Pakorn and Pornsanae trained with Saenchai at 13 Coins gym for a while. Before 13 Coins, Saenchai trained at Jocky Gym, which included evasive geniuses like Somrak and Lerdsila. There are countless evasive technicians from the golden era, but yet the world does not know them. This is the purpose of my video, to spotlight the contrast between stand and bang style and the technician evasive style, which many "Muay Femur" fighters are.
