His songs were the theme song of our lives. This 2022, Gary V sat down with me and opened up about his personal struggles, his silent battles and the medical conditions he survived. At 14 years old, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and was told by doctors that his case has an average lifespan of 30 years. Today, he continues to live his life with a purpose bigger than himself. I will always be grateful to be given the chance to share the same stage with him in my career.
