Chico’s confidence, make that overconfidence, is on display for all to see and Marina’s determined to knock him down a peg or 2. Peg 1 comes via a pretty even initial exchange but Marina coming out ahead just enough to bruise the ego ever so slightly. Peg 2 is a bit more pronounced thanks to a Fujiwara Armbar that has Adam’s scrambling to the ropes looking less confident than he started. But Marina falls into the overconfidence trap now and a big knee strike opens the flood gates for a back rake, plenty of choking and corner work as Mister Overconfidence is back in full force. Marina briefly turns the tide and starts returning favors only for ref LT Falk calling for a break and breaking her momentum as Chico waltzes right through the open door. A neck vice is a rare legal hold in a sea of chokes, rakes and even dragging Mariana’s face along the top rope. Tucker battles valiantly but can’t seems to string much together without Adam’s regaining momentum. Chico on the other hand seems in no hurry to put her away, methodically picking her apart like he has all the time in the world. Marina continues to mount comebacks, they continue to stall and Adams continues to toy with her even pulling her up at a 1 count. Will Mister Overconfidence hit he finisher he wants or take a huge blow to his ego?
