Amaterasu will target the farthest hero away from her position, meaning it will most likely be a range hero, even if the enemies try to place melee heroes in the backline since they will all walk forward. Amaterasu shines against Fate Bosses where allies are attacked more often, triggering her counter attack from Ultimate.
