So much more than a social media parody of the desire to be popular and quite likely just mimicking events in the future that will become increasingly gruesome in this disposable and voyeuristic world. Fact and fiction spiralled and entwined within shades of black and white from zenith to nadir, switched on to off, between one and zero, from beginning to end - there's no black and white, only shades.
That i should pick this killer spree in the kind of filmgenre i donot like that much. but it turned out pretty magnificent make, the killing methods, the complete and utter motion at all times, and the bittertasting aftermath of it all, and i still sit here, why? could this happen in real life? do people feel the cravings for'' likes'' hoarding so badly that they draw their actions to such an extent? lets not hope for any copycats on this one... so the shocking truth about this small casted, narrow image made , social media driven, breakneck speedin, youtubegeneration made black comedy flick really took the breath away from the grumpy old man. the fast shifts i do have problems with, the small and colourfilled letters in the fanzone are merely unreadable and rolls over the screen like the cast and crewlist of soap of 1980's. the acting are great, the cruelty pretty entertaining and the gorefactor pretty high. so if your in for a easy ride with all angels cam'mmed have a go with ''spree''. its really a nice recommend.
Occasionally I watch a movie so bad that I'm angry with myself for wasting the time. This is probably the best example of such a movie. Won't waste my time writing more - just don't bother.
I imagine that they intended to copy the movie infamous. Unlike infamous, this had a good storyline but the acting was terrible. It felt like I was watching a B-movie. I can honestly say that there are not too many movies once I started watching I will turn off, but this was one. The reason I gave three stars is because of the story line. Don't waste your time or money.
Never have I seen a film where I have hated every single character. Now I have. Thank you Netflix for this unique experience. Truly terrible.
