This is when Sheamus wanted to quit WWE. In January 2011, Sheamus was in the Raw Rumble, where Jerry Lawler eliminated him with the help of John Cena to win the match. A week later, Sheamus was informed that Mark Henry said he doesn’t deserve to be in the Elimination Chamber. Sheamus said Henry was there for 13 years and was never close to a World Title, calling him a joke. If the Chamber was a cake eating contest, maybe he would have won it and told him he should shut his mouth or he will do it for him. He was about to face David Otunga, Henry came out, hit Sheamus with the World’s Strongest Slam and followed by another. Henry was making his entrance next week, Sheamus attacked him and hit him with the Brogue Kick. He sent a message to Randy Orton and hit Henry with another Brogue Kick. Then he faced Randy. Randy caught him with the RKO to win the match. Sheamus failed to win the chamber. Next day on Raw, Sheamus faced Henry. Sheamus took off the turnbuckle pad, Henry immediately crushed him in the corner and hit him with the World’s Strongest Slam to win the match. Daniel Bryan and Gail Kim were backstage, Sheamus asked if he thinks this is funny, Bryan said he wasn’t laughing at him, Sheamus threatened to rip his head off and stared at him furiously. A week later, Triple H was talking about his match with The Undertaker. Sheamus interrupted, Triple H hit him with a low blow and put him through the announcer table. Sheamus was being taken to the back, the anonymous GM sent a message, which said that he still has a scheduled match against Evan Bourne. Evan hit Sheamus with the Air Bourne to win the match in 35 seconds. Next week, Sheamus faced US Champion Bryan in a non-title match. Bryan dropkicked Sheamus, he hurt his ankle outside and got counted out. Sheamus said he has been on a losing streak lately, challenged Bryan for the title and if he doesn’t win, he quits.
