Due to a marriage arranged for the purpose of benefit exchange, Jiang Yuan, an assassin from the Taixuan Building, and Shao Yue, the holy daughter of the Jiuxuan Sect, were ordered to get married. The two initiated an assassination on their wedding night, only to discover that they were both immortal.
