Not working!!!
source: American Wedding
After a fairly disappointing sequel, American Pie returns with a surprisingly impressive third instalment. The story is fairly routine and predictable but the vulgarity reaches new highs and the cast do one hell of a job of making it work. Seann William Scott plays Stifler in a very bizarre way. This jock/freak combo character is kind of awful but also kind of brilliant. Scott bounces perfectly off his co-stars, creating some truly hilarious scenes and ultimately stealing the show. The dance-off with Eric Allean Kramer is a genuine work of art and probably my favourite scene in the entire American Pie series. Kramer deserves credit for a sneakily fabulous performance throughout this film. This may all be a bit lowbrow and formulaic but it's also just plain funny and uplifting. A fitting finale to a memorable trilogy.
The greatest scene of the unrated version has two gay men kissing!!
I loved the original American pie, when I watched the second movie I was very disappointed. It was still fun, but not as smooth as the first. I wasn't sure what to expect when watching American Wedding, but was quickly surprised with how good the movie was. I loved the jokes, it was great seeing the original cast. The movie had smooth lines and a fun element to it. The only thing I felt was lacking in the film was the fact there was less sex in it and it was missing Michelle's wild side. The movie was a little tame for an American Pie movie, but it made up for it in all other area's. the movie was fun, funny, heartfelt and I loved every moment. The cherry on top was seeing Stifler's soft side.
Unbelievable. After a cheeky and refreshing part 1 (a bit like a modern Porky-trilogy) a really sex sex sex sex filled part 2 came around. The trailer of this movie seemed to bring another success story like the original movie. But no, it's just another movie that starts off right and ends as a cheap teenage * movie. Not even funny, it makes one feel uneasily when watching those sick kids. In part 1 they were naughty and enjoying adult behavior, in part 2 and 3 it's just a test to see how much kinkyness and extremity one can bare. Simply a no-go movie.
This was by far the worst American Pie movie. There was no real message put forth by the script; it was just an excuse to have a cheap laugh. The cast was also a disappointment. Oz (Chris Klein), Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), Vicky (Tara Reid) and others are no shows.
Once again John Williams God Jason Biggs were exit in this film and a great supporting cast great college party filled you gotta love it
Rated R for sexual content, language and crude humor I just watched American Wedding.I have previously seen the first two films in the American Pie series. The first film was a great comeback for teen sex comedies and was very funny. It was also pretty realistic and was overall a good teen film.American Pie 2 was good as well but the worst in the trilogy. Now American Wedding.Everybody in this film is now in their 20's.Jim is about to get married and the film basically shows the many funny misadventures they have planning the wedding.Stifler teaches Jim how to dance and in this film, we find out that Stifler does have a heart. There are many funny scenes in this film and if you liked the first two American pie's or sex comedies then watch this one!
