As the match begins, it's Desiree that sees the best of the opening action, working Diane with armlocks and Headlocks. A trio of strikes bring Diane back into contention, but before she can capitalize, it's Desiree in control again, this time with a Sleeper. Desiree doesn't want a knockout though, switching to an arm-wrenching submission hold, before then going to work on Diane's legs. After a sustained period of Stepover Toeholds put significant pressure on Diane's lower limbs, Desiree reveals her endgame and clamps on a textbook Figure Four Leglock.
