In the second of three drill demonstrations on the topic, Tama Miyashiro, former Assistant Coach for the U.S. Women’s National Team, guides coaches through the “Over-the-Net Pepper” drill, with special focus on eyework for the passers/diggers. Miyashiro emphasizes the importance, depending on the level of your athletes, in providing frequent cues regarding setters’ and hitters’ body positions to read the attack.
