Kohima Village's Friends of 80 Plus celebrates 20th Foundation Day. The 20th Foundation Day of Kohima Village's Friends of 80 Plus was celebrated at Marochinno Hall, Christ King Church on Wednesday. The event was graced by Tepul Hepovi, President, Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) as the Special Guest. Presently, Friends of 80 Plus has a total of 228 elderly members from four khels in the village including 81 men and 147 women. Formed by a few likeminded citizens of Kohima Village, the initiative aims to create a platform for young people to celebrate the presence of grandparents and elders of the village. A free check up was facilitated for all the 80 Plus members after conclusion the formal programme.
