It’s straight to the action in this International 1 fall match. From the start, both wrestlers seem prepared to play the long game, methodically targeting certain limbs and body parts as control of the action sways back and forth. Kicks and strikes are exchanged frequently between the two women, each looking to wear one another down. Mixing things up, Nixon attempts to bring things to an end with a Sleeperhold. Layne tries a Suplex and a little choking on the ropes to gain the advantage. Still the match remains finely balanced. Eventually, it is a momentary pause ahead of executing a DDT that gives one wrestler the opening. A sudden reversal leads to a roll-up and a hard fought victory for one of these combatants.
