Japanese kickboxing is as good as it’s ever been, with notable fighters like Masaaki Noiri and Takeru recently signing to ONE championship, competing with the best fighters in the world, there are an aubundance of fighters in the smaller weight classes like Kaneko, Masahi Kumura and Yuki yoza dominating the scene. Japan has also seen some of it’s best kickboxers make the transition into professional boxing to try and join superstar Inoue at the top of the game, Tenshin and Yoshiki Takei spring to mind.
