A fast-paced, evenly matched one-fall battle. Ashton takes the momentum early, working over Lexi in the corner. Lexi finds her offense, only to be stopped immediately by reverse into an anklelock, followed by a single-leg Boston Crab and a rope choke. Lexi fires off a shot to the gut to get some breathing room, then hits Ashton with double Chickenwing on the mat, which Ashton later returns with interest. The two continue to battle, reaching deep into the bag of tricks and pulling out some truly old school ways to break holds, such as eye pokes and rakes of the face. As the intensity ramps up, Lexi escapes another Boston Crab and catches Ashton off-balance with a chinbreaker. What comes next is a quick and dazzling display of escapes of reversals until one wrestler finally hits the move to put the other on the mat for the elusive 3 count and the victory.
