April Hunter referees this no gimmicks match between straight up professionals. The ladies launch straight into the action, exhibiting their technical chops with a dizzying sequence of back-and-forth chain wrestling. Each gets the upper hand in turn, trying to wrench the other’s arms out of their sockets. They soon graduate to punishing other limbs–namely the legs–with high impact blows and submissions alike. There’s plenty of strategy evident throughout–they will feign tests of strength challenges only to launch herself at an opponent, execute surprise rollup pins, trap their foes in corners–all the while using elbows (and fists and feet and knees) to inflict more and more pain. This is old fashioned pro wrestling at its very best–style WITH substance.
