Tasha offers a handshake before this Submissions Only match but apparently that isn’t the Lucha way as Sexy Star declines followed by some Lucha rolls. All business Tasha is barely flummoxed by this display and eager to lock up. Right away the contrast in styles is apparent as Sexy is all flash but soon ends up tied in a knot and fortunately for her close to the ropes. A clever Indian Deathlock variant has Sexy quite happy with herself until a workman like reversal into a bridging reverse Chinlock once again sees the Luchadora fortunate to be within reach of the ropes. Another declined handshake later Sexy has a deep Surfboard, but Tasha again powers out and takes a page out of her playbook with an Indian Deathlock variant with a hairpull forcing a break. Sexy continues her pattern of disrespect followed by aggression, but her Camel Clutch isn’t as good as she thinks and a hard elbow to the knee extracts Tasha. Simone has had enough but her deep claw is countered by vice-like bodyscissors that even another claw can’t break until she turns her into a crab, the ropes once again saving Sexy Star. A rarity of a hold being reversed at the exact moment it’s applied gives one grappler a huge advantage but forgetting the rules squanders much of the momentum. Fittingly in a match with so many counters and reversals one wrestler’s counter leaves her in a much worse predicament from witch there is no escape!
