Welcome to Imperial! We’ll be ready to welcome new and returning students back in the Autumn. Learning will be delivered on campus and remotely. But that’s not all – get involved in hundreds of clubs and societies, keep up-to-date on our plans for bars and catering, give your mind and body a workout in our libraries and sports facilities, and get support from a variety of College services remotely or in some cases on campus. Campus might feel different, but our community is as strong as ever. Find out more by visiting for the latest updates and community news
Imperial student medics prepare for the NHS frontline during COVID-19
Final year Maths student, Aishy reflects back on her last year with us and picks out some of her best highlights. From favourite modules to study, organising events and socials to making lifelong friends.💙 You can read more about Aishy's experience on our student blog site here:
To support NHS staff through this challenging time, some of our final year medics have created a new initiative called 'Feed The Workers'. Students have teamed up with restaurants and delivery drivers in the local community to provide meals and food to staff as they work tirelessly to help those in need.
"There's a bit of getting used to but the lecturers are really helpful, they're very quick and responsive in getting back to us with our questions" As students adjust to working from home, Mechanical Engineering student and blogger, Max, shares an insight into his experience of remote learning. Find out more from our International, EU and Home student bloggers as they share their personal experience of life at Imperial.
Last month, we shared a video of our final-year Imperial medics sharing their thoughts on qualifying early to support frontline NHS staff during COVID-19: •TheFrontline:FromImperialtotheNHS Fast forward a few weeks and one of the medics, Gargi Samarth, has qualified early and begun her role as an Interim Foundation Year 1 Doctor. Gargi shows us around Northwick Park Hospital as she works alongside our other Imperial Medicine students who are volunteering to support the NHS during this difficult time.
Friends, lectures, being in London... and the library? Everyone misses something about Imperial. Here's what our students are looking forward to doing when they're back on campus.
Hear from our students across the world as they talk about how they are getting on and ways to stay positive during these uncertain times.
