Both the WWF and WCW would try to put on the best shows possible every Monday Night, and the Monday Night War era would turn out to be one of the most fun (and profitable) times in wrestling history. The Reliving The War series looks at every episode of Raw and Nitro during the Monday Night War while comparing each and every segment head-to-head. With Raw is War being pre-empted over the past two weeks, the USA Network gave the WWF a timeslot on Friday Nights. The company aired 2 special "Friday Night's Main Event" shows that also served as the final televised events before Ground Zero: In Your House. Taped in Rosemont, Il, Friday Night's Main Event featured appearances from Bret Hart, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Rick Rude, Dude Love and The Patriot. An important update regarding Stone Cold Steve Austin's status also aired.
