The story was good, but frankly the evolution of the main character from spoiled brat to graceful took way too long.By the time we got there, I hated her.Jealous, self absorbed, spiteful.Maxum and America were a welcomed "site" though.
I really wanted to like this book just as much as the Selection series, but it's just not as engaging. I'm sure it will get better as the series progresses on, but for now it was dull, slow and really predictable.
