Publisher's Summary Number-one New York Times best-selling author Colleen Hoover returns with a new heart-wrenching love story. When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn't even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn't want love, she doesn't have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her: Never ask about the past. Don't expect a future. They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can't handle it at all. Hearts get infiltrated. Promises get broken. Rules get shattered. Love gets ugly. ©2014 Colleen Hoover (P)2014 Simon & Schuster, Inc.

Any additional comments?I love Colleen Hoover. The book was good. She never fails to keep me captivated. There was just a little something missing in the love connection between Tate and Miles.Maybe it was because most of the "love story" was focused on the Rachael story. But 4 - 4.5 stars because Colleen is a great storyteller. And for some reason the male narrator sounded like John Malkovich to me.So, in my head, Miles was the weird serial killer guy from Con Air.
What a load of junk I am sorry but NOBODY feels like that with a kiss “I just died he kissed me” give me a f... break. Returning it
Would you listen to Ugly Love again? Why?Absolutely! It is a truly heartbreaking, heartwarming beautiful story. What was one of the most memorable moments of Ugly Love? The most memorable moment for me was the reunion of Miles & Rachael towards the end.Any additional comments?I loved this book! I love all of Colleen Hoover's work. She's awesome! Keep them coming!
This was a very enticing book. The performance was suiting. I found it more troubling to go the day without reading it, even at work. I loved it.
I have to agree with the one reviewer and say this book was awful! I am very disappointed. There was no real connection between the two characters. Miles treated Tate like she meant nothing to him the entire book and Tate let him! I was angry the whole time reading this book telling myself Colleen Hoover better bring this two together in an epic way, she better have him begging, grovelling, have us actually believe that he truly loved Tate as much as he had loved Rachel!! Just something to redeem him so that I could stop seeing him as the jerk he was!! Well, that did not happen, and none of it was convincing enough. I never once felt sorry for Miles because of his past and I couldn't bring myself to sympathize with Tate. If you want to read/listen to an angsty and emotional love story that will tug at your heartstrings, move along, because you will not get that here. Try Sea of Tranquility, Maybe Someday, Archer's Voice.....
