This is when John Cena got crushed by a car. At Backlash 2008, Cena eliminated JBL during a fatal 4 way match, where Triple H won the WWE Title. On Raw, JBL destroyed Robbie, took a headset, saying that Cena robbed him and challenged him. A week later, JBL offered Cena a preview by destroying DH Smith. Next week, Cena wanted a match against Randy Orton, and William Regal granted him one. Cena was concerned that JBL might intervene. Regal said that he will suspend anyone that intervenes. Then Cena met Randy. During the match, JBL came out, saying that Regal determined that the ref is not fit to officiate and he will be the new one. Then Cena and JBL met at Judgment Day. Cena hit JBL with the FU to win the match. On Raw, Cena and Triple H faced JBL and Randy. Cena caught JBL with the STF, Randy hit him with the Punt Kick, went after Triple H and JBL pinned Cena to win the match. Triple H went for the Pedigree on Randy and JBL caught him with the clothesline from hell. Then Randy caught Triple H with the RKO and JBL challenged Cena to a First Blood match. A week later, Cena and Jeff Hardy faced JBL and Umaga. JBL hit Jeff with the Clothesline from Hell to win the match. Cena and JBL met at One Night Stand.
