National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling marked a historic milestone with the inaugural NCAA Women’s Wrestling National Championship, held March 6–7, 2026, in Coralville, Iowa. The championship welcomed 180 qualified student-athletes from across the country, competing in 10 weight classes as they took part in the first NCAA-sanctioned championship event for the sport.
