Learn how to perform the classic left horizontal elbow strike that is designed to target your opponent's chin. In this video you will see a demonstration of the left horizontal elbow from a number of angles. The key to the left horizontal elbow is to rotate your hips and turn your pivot foot. This is a similar motion as the left hook as your power will come from the twist and rotation of your hip. If you want to land this strike you need to make sure that you step forward and quickly close the gap against your opponent.
