It was originally performed by Mr. Nonoy Zuñiga and was later widely popularized by Ms. Regine Velasquez through her Covers album, released in 2005. Ms. Regine Velasquez, often called Asia’s Songbird, is a highly acclaimed Filipino singer, actress, and television personality known for her powerful vocals, impressive range, and influential career spanning decades. Rising to fame after winning the 1984 TV talent show Ang Bagong Kampeon, she became one of the most celebrated OPM artists with iconic hits like “Dadalhin,” “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw,” and “Pangako.” Regine is also recognized for her sold-out concerts, chart-topping albums, and contributions to Philippine pop culture through film and TV. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Filipino vocalists of all time, s
