A quick-paced, hard-fought 1 fall match-up, which features plenty of 2 counts and near-submissions as the pair battle back and forth for the victory. Santana is a whirlwind early on, flipping, flying and using the ropes to bounce around the ring and hit Taylor with shoulderblocks, a backslide pin attempt and a crescent kick to the gut. Taylor battles back with a Camel Clutch, a rope choke and a painful Bow & Arrow submission hold. The two trade blows on multiple occasions, each trying to gain the upper hand. Santana gains some momentum when she slams Taylor to the mat from a Fireman’s Carry, then delivers a falling Headbutt to the gut before locking on her own Bow & Arrow submission hold, followed shortly by an Abdominal Stretch. Taylor will not quit, though, furiously battling her way out of Santana’s submission holds by any means possible, whether it’s with an elbow, a forearm, or even biting Santana’s knee.
