I wanted to like this book, but it was so cheesy and far fetched, mixed together with a story line that never quite came together. Basically, not my favorite Kiera Cass book by far.
I liked the story overall, an interesting take on an ancient myth. The narrator, Arielle DeLisle is quite chipper and cheery, and annoys me if I'm listening for too long. Whenever a male character speaks through her, it's dismal. Maybe that's just an audio book thing, but it really irked me.
I love the history that the author slips in throughout the story to help develop the character's back story.I want more of this story line.Be prepared to be sucked in.The only disappointment is when it ends & you will be stuck wanting more.
