This is when Kane won the ECW title in 8 seconds. On the WrestleMania 24 pre-show, Kane won a battle royal for a chance at the ECW Title. Chavo Guerrero defended it against him, who appeared from under the ring and hit him with a chokeslam to win the title in 8 seconds. Kane was talking about the win on ECW, adding that we haven’t seen anything yet. CM Punk with his briefcase interrupted. Kane said if he wants to cash it in, he’s not going to have a great night. Punk told him to take it easy, saying he’s jealous, because he only won a briefcase and Kane won a title, adding that he can use it anytime. Chavo interrupted, saying no one gets a shot before him, adding that Kane’s win was a fluke. Kane said he beat him in 8 seconds. Punk mocked him for losing the title in record fashion. Chavo said Kane attacked him from behind because he knows he can’t beat him face to face. Chavo said they are going to be in a tag team match. His partner was Shelton Benjamin. They met in the main event, where Punk hit Shelton with the GTS to win the match. On Smackdown, Edge said he let his family down because he lost the title against The Undertaker. Chavo also felt he let everyone down, adding that Kane cheated and promised to take the title back. As the Smackdown General Manager, Vickie granted both of them a rematch and made their opponents face each other. Taker and Kane met in the main event. They knocked down each other, they got up at the same time and they got attacked by La Familia, ending in a no contest. They took out both of them, they got up instantly and started assaulting them. They threw out both Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. They hit Edge and Chavo with chokeslams and they hit both of them with tombstones. There was a contract signing on ECW. Kane said he beat Chavo in 8 seconds. Chavo said he cheated and it won’t happen again because someone has his back and it was Bam Neely. Kane got attacked by La Familia and got put through the table. A week later, Kane said Chavo awoke the monster inside him. Next week, Edge hos
