In this lesson, you will be able to identify basic human rights, including the rights of children. You will write a letter to the United Nations pleading with them to ensure that all children are given the right to an education.

In today's lesson, you will identify what human rights are and how they protect people. By the end of the lesson, you will understand the rights that we have as human beings. You will create a poster demonstrating human rights and what they are.

In this lesson, you will explore the roles and responsibilities that you, as a citizen, have in your community. You will then create a video that outlines your role, alongside the main responsibilities you have.

In today's lesson, you will understand what a community is, explore the different types of communities (place, interest, action and practice) and consider the benefits of being a part of one.
