During this session we will learn from Yale students and trainees that have participated in the YIGH Sustainable Health Initiative, Global Health Case Competition, Leadership in Global Health Fellowship Program and the U.S. Global Health Policy and Advocacy Study Tour. The Yale Institute for Global Health hosted the Second Annual Global Health Symposium on April 11th, 2025. Participants heard from Yale faculty and students engaged in global health; learned about opportunities including seed grants, faculty networks, and student opportunities; and networked and connected with Yale’s global health community. Keynote speakers included: · Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General, World Health Organization · Laura Magaña, PhD, MS, President and CEO, Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health The event was generously supported by the George Herbert Walker Jr. Lecture Fund at the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale.
