A tactical battle throughout, both men gave as good as they got and it will surely be replayed plenty of times in the build-up to their seemingly inevitable fight. Davis, who has earned the nicknames ‘Mini Mike Tyson’ and ‘Tank’ for his ferocious knockout power, watched Lopez’s knockout of Richard Commey for the IBF title in December with genuine intrigue. “He’s a good fighter.
