Now guys, we must attend to more pressing issues. It's Apr 18th and in a month May 18th, we have a big fight on our hands. Billed Ring of Fire Tyson Fury will be sharing the ring with Mr Oleksandr Usyk. Now these are arguably two of the most skilled Heavyweight boxers that we have at the moment. So I expect a bit of a chess match between the two of them before they start throwing anything meaningful. This fight for me promises a bit of everything. As this fight will be similar to the Beterbiev and Bivol fight where all 4 major belts and the IBo + Ring magazine belt will be up for grabs, I don't think either boxer will want to give up ground on anything. A lot is at stake here Usyk holds 5 of the belts, so the IBF, WBO, WBA Super, IBO, and the coveted Ring Magazine. Now there is a scenario that I would like to see play out, where each boxer wins. I think if Usyk wins I want to see him go up against Deontay Wilder, not because he has a similar level of boxing ability but because I want to see how he nullifies his backhand. Another possibility is Frank Sanchez, he'll be fighting on the undercard so I'll check out how he performs on the night and it will either reinforce or create a loss of interest in the possibility of that fight. Now if Tyson Fury wins I would like to see him go up against Anthony Joshua. I just feel there's something about that fight. An all British showdown with the top two boxers. That will definitely be a massive fight for everyone. Both the proceedings and the outcome. I think this will shake up the heavyweight division in a good way.
