In a curious decision, Backstage Assault does not include a wrestling ring, matches do not take place inside the arena but instead they take part in backstage locations around the arena - loading bays, garages, media rooms, locker rooms etc. Because of the unique areas where matches would happen, WCW Backstage Assault sure was different. There was still potential though with a roster featuring the likes of Hulk Hogan, Sting, Kevin Nash, Ric Flair, Bret Hart and Bill Goldberg. This video looks at WCW Backstage Assault on PS1 (with a brief look at the N64 release).
