Scarface: The World Is Yours sequel by Radical Entertainment was cancelled in 2009. Scarface: Empire is a cancelled Game that took place in 1980s Las Vegas for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Radical Entertainment got acquired by Activision and cancelled the game due to too many games in development (many not made publicly).<br /><br />Songs in Scarface: Empire included I Want It All, Viva Las Vegas, Dr. Feelgood, Jesus Built My Hotrod. Video includes footage of Scarface II (Scarface: Empires) official pre-alpha gameplay footage from June 6, 2008. <br /><br />Scarface 2 Game Description:<br /><br />"The idea was Tony was forced out of Miami during the crackdown on drugs in that area / time period, and decided Vegas was a good place to move his empire. The mob casino bosses didn’t like cocaine being sold in their casinos, so Tony starts building his own casino without approval from the mob. The game had you building a casino super drug front, while taking down casino mob bosses, taking over territory, and building up a crew. There was an expansive desert section surrounding the city you’d use for collecting incoming “supplies”, disposing of bodies, etc. <br /><br />The game was shaping up to be pretty cool actually. It was culled when we were taken over by Activision. From my understanding, they had too many other open world games in development, and were not interested in making a Scarface game. I stuck around for another year and helped with the development of Prototype. Another Scarface designer and I left Radical and started MinMax Games, with just the two of us. We were both designers on Scarface 2 (Scarface: Empires), so it was pretty devastating to lose over 2 full years of effort on what would have been a pretty cool game. The game engine Scarface: Empire was using was a heavily modified version of what was used on Prototype, and the Hulk games that came before it." - Narlak-MinMaxGames (former Scarface: Empire Developer).
