Indian Ocean is an Indian rock band, widely recognized as the pioneers of the fusion rock genre in India regaled a packed house on 1 June 18 at HT Friday Jam, an Hindustan Times event where SGT UNIVERSITY, Gurugram is the EDUCATION PARTNER. The musical style of the band can be at best classified as folk and fusion music. It is an experimental genre, fusing raga (traditional Indian tunes) with rock music, guitars and drums, sometimes using Indian folk songs. The students and faculty of SGT UNIVERSITY has worked very hard with HT to make the event a grand success. The Jam continues for 6 Fridays beginning 25 June.

#Ayurvedadepartment of #SGTUniversity organized #ShalakyaPrabhodini .....In this conference, a general discussion on the importance and various aspects of Ayurveda was conducted.....It was an interesting tete-tete in which the students, as well as the faculty members, actively took part.....

Ayurveda department organized a conference titled #SalakyaPrabhodini ….eminent faculty members and guests participated in this event. #AyurvedaSpecialists and visiting members gave an interesting lecture about the various aspects of the subject. All the reasons and effects of human mental and physical illness were described and how Ayurveda was instrumental in solving these #healthissues.

Shri S.S. Prasad (IAS - Haryana 1984) visited SGT university on the occasion of Synergy -2018... In his speech he elaborated about the fact that there was no boundations to the process of learning and every new day brought something new to teach. He appreciated the fact that how SGT university had grown into a reputed institution out of scratch and praised the institution for its novelty....He further emphasized on the importance of organising fests like Synergy and how it inculcated new innovations.

In his speech, he recalled his childhood years when he was a curious kid wanting to get some pictures clicked with esteemed #Nobel_prize_winners. He fondly reminisced those moments when his dream ultimately came true when he got to meet His Holiness ' The Dalai Lama'...He further told that #childhood was an important phase in the life of any person for it formed the pedestal for adulthood. Unfortunately in developing countries such as India, still, there are millions of children who undergo some or the other form of harassment and atrocities in their everyday life...#Millions of #children either do not go or drop out of school before completing their formal #education. Motivational Speaker and Founder and CEO of Tyrelesly and TechAPTO, Mister Anubhav Wadhwa presented an inspirational speech on 'Entrepreneurship Thoughts' at SGT university which struck the right notes with the audience. His in-depth analysis of various aspects of business and entrepreneurship were quite thought provoking and noteworthy.

SGT University was gratified by the benign presence of President of Dental Counof India ‘Honorable Dr. Dibyenduur’Mazmder In his speech he was allcil praise for Dr. M.S. Sidhu for his diligence and sincerity he put to the craft of dental sciences. In the presence of honorable chairman of SGT university, the management committee and other eminent faculty members , it was an interesting session in which Shree Mazumder appreciated SGT’s Faculty of dental sciences and hoped that it will embark on the path of further development. He applauded the pioneering and egalitarian job done by the SGT's Faculty of Dental Sciences in bringing dental care to rural India . Dr. Dibyendu Mazumder inaugrated 2 of SGT's prominent centers namely Centre for 'Microscopic Enhanced Dentistry' housing several clinical dental operating microscopes and Centre for 'Maxillofacial Imaging' housing CBCT imaging system. Alumni got a feeling of deja vu on visiting SGT University and recalled the best moments they spent over here. For them it was in fact one of the best places for pursuing professional courses and an excellent centre for acquiring knowledge….

Alumni shared their views and reminisced the time they spent here. They revealed that SGT was like second home to them and said that along with studies emphasis on extra curricular led to an all round development in their personality…..They stated that SGT was indeed one of the best place for learning and acquiring knowledge…..

AURA-2019 ….SGT’s Annual Management Fest kickstarted with the inaugural speech from Dr. Gurpreet Singh Tuteja and Dr. Tara Shankar. They emphasised the importance of such fest in the college life of students. AURA , the two day management fest was a carnival of talents. Music, dance, face painting and poster making competition, nail art, extempore and many other activities filled up the two day event. More than 25 schools and colleges participated and the show was a grand success……We hope and look forward to the next season and wait for its return …..
