This movie had very real snippets and undertones from a real life situation involving the people certain characters and situations were loosely based. Men involved with Michigan Child Support knows the one-sidedness that typically occurs in our situations. This movie hit home for me and took it's time trying a story. I appreciate it
Obviously this production was limited by budget constraints however it is well done in many ways. It was filmed in Detroit, so to see many familiar sites (one scene was filmed at a shopping center at the corner of my subdivision) and creative use of the beautiful Riverfront as a backdrop, gave it the best bang for limited bucks.
Poor, unconvincing acting, but brings light to an ongoing issue in America. Wouldn't watch it again but wasn't entirely uninterested.
