AURA-2019 ….SGT’s Annual Management Fest kickstarted with the inaugural speech from Dr. Gurpreet Singh Tuteja and Dr. Tara Shankar. They emphasised the importance of such fest in the college life of students. AURA , the two day management fest was a carnival of talents. Music, dance, face painting and poster making competition, nail art, extempore and many other activities filled up the two day event. More than 25 schools and colleges participated and the show was a grand success……We hope and look forward to the next season and wait for its return …..
When it comes to education, SGT University is the first to take the initiative. A lecture on Redefining Education was organized by SGT University on March 27th, 2019, where some of the eminent personalities like Honourable former President of India Shree Pranab Mukherjee and Professor Dinesh Singh, Professor of Mathematics and 21st Vice Chancellor of University of Delhi were present to opine on the need of right education in India.
On the eve of March 27, 2019, SGT University, as a part of its series of public lectures, held a lecture on Redefining Education wherein the Former President of India, Shree Pranab Mukherjee enlightened the august gathering on the role of state in Education. Mr. Mukherjee emphasized on the need of change in our current education system. He also added that India was once a hub of quality education which gave birth to great mathematicians like Ramanujan. The lecture session concluded on highlighting the benefits of advanced technologies and accessible platforms which can help redefine the existing education system of India.
Professor Dinesh Singh, Former Vice Chancellor of University of Delhi delivered a public lecture titled ‘Redefining Education’ organised by SGT University on March 27, 2019. The former Vice Chancellor of Delhi University spoke on the importance of education and titled it as the ‘Well Being of Human Being’. He also gave many examples where great physicians and mathematicians were quoted for their pioneering work. He also identified some of the shortcomings present in our current education system due to which many talented people fail to prove themselves in their specific fields of expertise.
The Chancellor of SGT University, Shree Ram Bahadur Rai praised the work of Dinesh Singh, Former Vice Chancellor, Delhi University on the lecture session of Redefining Education held on March 27, 2019. He complimented Prof. Dinesh Singh for several path breaking initiatives in the field of education. The Chancellor also applauded for the Former President Shree Pranab Mukherjee for his contributions in the education system as while he held the office of the President who visited over 116 universities in India and gave them a renewed vision.
