Not going to say too much, because i don't want to spoil anything. However, I really enjoyed getting some insight into the Con world. It was a fun movie that made me laugh out loud a lot and really moved me, especially in a beautifully realized scene towards the end of the movie. Kudos to triple threat Jeff Nimoy and the rest of the cast with an especially nice turn by Nikki Boyer.
Every bad camera angle in the book ...... only joy was lead was quite likeable and acting overall wasn't that shabby..... better crew and this would of been 7 stars from me. Storyline was interesting.
So a broke VO director gets invited to an anime convention for the first time in a very long time, and discovers that many things have changed - and continue to change. Funny, sweet, goofy, moving - with really wonderful performances from Nikki Boyer, Brian Donovan, and the star Jeff Nimoy!. The supporting cast is also obviously having a blast! Great fun whether you've been to anime conventions or not!
