> After watching three episodes of Generation Kill, as an Iraqi, I couldn’t continue. The series presents an offensive and unrealistic portrayal: the arrogance of American soldiers is shown as normal or even humorous, and the U.S. military is depicted as an unbeatable force that enters battles with almost no casualties, as if the other side barely exists. The story is told from a single perspective and ignores the human reality and destruction experienced by Iraqis. In my opinion, the show does not reflect the truth, and I do not recommend it to Iraqis, as it justifies the occupation more than it explains what really 👎👎
