please I need to read a novel but I don't know how
What was one of the most memorable moments of It Ends with Us?When Rile thought they could maybe get back together after their daughter was born and Lily told him she wanted a divorce. She asked him what he would do in each of the situations he had put Lily herself in.She asked him, if Emmy said, "Daddy, My boyfriend did this to me or my husband did that, what would you say to her. This part made me cry.Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?I did listen to it in one sitting.Any additional comments? My ex-husband was an abuser, but it wasn't until he threatened our baby girl, that I finally got the courage to leave.
Listened to 3 chapters but couldn't go any further, no originality. Typical love story with the intelligent, good looking guy that doesn't fall for anyone falls for a complete stranger for some reason in an instant. Horribly predictable.
Would you try another book from Colleen Hoover and/or Olivia Song? No. I thought the writing was shallow and immature. I had to stop after 7 chapters because I'm not in 7th grade. The description was completely misleading... and I felt like I was reading an hormonal teen's composition paper.
This book was very real, no entertainment was listened to. I felt very much like what I was hearing was important and necessary... Mind you it was challenging and painful, but very necessary. Colleen has managed to put herself out there in a way that no doubt will leave her feeling naked & exposed but I hope that she can rest easy knowing she will be saving lives with this book. Olivia did a beautiful job, I can't imagine it was easy to read for this book and she was great.
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?No, I would not. It never really just captured my attention. I loved Rial's story, but I wish we had heard more of that and seen progress or how he moved on. Also, the ending where she randomly meets up with the guy she knew from when he was homeless and they fall in love happily ever after was a tad bit unrealistic...... "I'm ready for you now" What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)I thought it was very staged and a bit cheesy. What does Olivia Song bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?I did enjoy her as a narrator. She gave life to all the character and you weren't left confused to who was saying what. Was It Ends with Us worth the listening time?no
Any additional comments?I have not finished but this book itis so good I don't even care about how it ends because I know it will be GREAT. I love this book so much and I have 3 hours to go. THIS IS A WELL WRIITEN AND NARRATED BOOK. It's such a great story that you have to give it a try. I think I know what will happen but o could be wrong. I couldn't wait to tell my followers about this one because I won't finish till tomorrow. GET IT NOWWWWWWW 😭😭😭.
