A back-and-forth collar and elbow tie-up leads into an exchange of headlocks and armlocks as both women look to gauge each other’s abilities. Though seemingly very evenly matched, Jayme slowly begins to assert some authority, coming out of most exchanges in a more dominant fashion. Soon this dominance becomes more explicit as Jayme looks for a fall with a duo of Suplexes and an Atomic Drop. This only earns her a two count, but Simone seems to be tiring and her minimal defense is fading. A lengthy crushing Bearhug seems likely to seal the deal for Jayme, and her victory appears inevitable. However, a quick roll-up attempt from Simone demonstrates she still has something in the tank.
