Laurent Volley Not Enough As Clarets Fall To Newcastle | HIGHLIGHTS | Burnley 1-3 Newcastle United
Burnley's spirited second half display ultimately to be proved in vain, as the Clarets fell to a first defeat in three Premier League outings, losing 3-1 to Newcastle United at Turf Moor. Wissa prodded it in from close range, despite Kyle Walker’s initial goal-line clearance and Martin Dúbravka's efforts to get a hold of it under physical pressure from Bruno Guimaraes, who appeared to shove Laurent to the ground. Burnley were then dealt another early blow shortly after, with Estéve forced to make way after picking up a knock on his return to the starting XI - Bashir Humphreys coming on as his replacement. Midway through the first-half, the Clarets carved open their first real opportunity, as Marcus Edwards drov
