Louis C. K. almost always makes us laugh. He goes where not many dare go aswell. Will watch again en will keep watching more from/with him. And for the 'Brit' YourMyWifeNow...: speak for yourself. Maybe only Brits don't like humor from other counties, because the Dutch I know love Seinfeld. And Falwty Towers aswell. So go figure.
CK s performance demonstrates why media has planted the SCARLETT LETTER on his chest. Emblazoned proudly on his chest CK continues to march himself into complete isolationism with this piece. Nevertheless CK will generate interest much as does a massive car wreck where spectators gather hoping to catch a glimpse of a corpse. Watching this is the equivalent of snacking on a booger when you are a young lad. You know it's wrong and if someone sees you you're in trouble but it tastes so good. Enjoy the show watch it in the dark along with all the others that are there with you in the dark snacking on their boogers.
In my opinion, this is Louis' worst special to date. A few of the bits were funny enough to keep me getting through but for every funny bit, there was one that didn't feel as well thought out or funny. It's a big step down from his last special. Still though, even a mediocre Louis CK special is far better than most comedians best material. I'd recommend watching the bits about the Zoo and Good Will Hunting. It was just entertaining enough to keep me watching.
It was okay. I didn't laugh as much as I've laughed in the past. He's been my fav comedian for years and I feel like this one just didn't have the same spark as the other specials. A lot of people seemed to like it but the jokes just felt mediocre to me. And edgy jokes just felt forced and more like he was going for shock value rather than being funny. There were parts that a laughed out loud but overall I think this standup will probably be pretty forgettable. I am glad to see him back though. Hopefully he keeps writing and putting out specials, and hopefully they're better than this.
I haven't had laughed this hard in a loooong time and I LOVED it. From start to finish, his material and delivery were as close to perfect as it can get. Punch after punch, joke after joke they landed strongly. Again he did not compromise and went after touchy subjects the way only he can. Classic Louis. (And maybe it was this funny because now he is free from distributors overseeing his work, I dunno.....whatever it is keep it up) I just wish I was in the audience alongside all those other women giving him an standing ovation.
I'm so glad Louis's special has a much higher rating than stupid pete davidson's... that shaved raccoon with graves disease deserves to be forgotten. LOUIS on the other hand will never, ever be forgotten. He made the world laugh way too hard for the world to just forget he existed over something really stupid, despite what pete davidson wishes. I hate pete davidson, and I love Louis CK. Burn in hell, Pete, and welcome back, Louis.
Nuff said, really. It's him, like he was, is, and will contiue to be for all time(fingers crossed) Played up on stage by 'like a rolling stone', I almost tered up:-) Thanks, to Louis.
Louis CK is a serious contender for the greatest comedian of all time. Like The Beatles, his quantity of quality is undeniable, as is his consistency, and Sorry is yet another fantastic addition to his outstanding catalogue. This man is one of the great moral philosophers of our generation, and the irony of that is not lost on him. Since revelations of his private life hit the headlines, Louis has become even more willing to take risks. He says what he wants and we can make what we make of it, and that, in essence, is exactly who he is. As a fan, this is the show I wanted to see; Louis CK being Louis CK without restraint or limitation. This is Louis as he is and it is a masterpiece. 10/10.
