Marvel Rivals has one problem that keeps showing up in almost every part of the game, and the more I played, the more I realized a lot of these issues are connected. Counterplay feels weaker than it should. Teamplay feels less important than it used to. Making the right read doesn't always lead to the right outcome. Team fights drag on forever. Characters keep getting one more way to avoid the consequences of a bad decision. So in this video, I wanted to break down why Rivals sometimes feels less like a hero shooter built around strategy and counterplay and more like a game where everybody is trying to survive through sheer kit bloat.
