Highlight of legendary fighter Oley Kiatoneway's defensive genius against Chamuekpet Hapalang. In Thailand, when a fighter gains a significant points advantage he often looks to consolidate his win by fighting defensively and effectively "shutting up shop", avoiding any further damage and only picking his opponents off with counters. In this fight, Oley knocks his opponent down early on in the fight and immediately begins protecting his lead, basically fighting by walking backwards for three or four rounds. Oley normally fights in a similar style to this anyway since he is a master technician, but to have the confidence and the ability to do it for such an extended period against a man who simultaneously held five Rajadamnern titles and four Lumpinee titles is something very special.
